fluidmaster the great !

After plumbing for 25 years, the fluidmaster takes the cake when it comes to performance and reliabilty.

For years I used brass ballcocks as a way of filling toilet cisterns and roof/header tanks until.....

about 10 years ago I was introduced to the ultimate float valve.

To begin with, I was pretty cagey about using a plastic valve.

I'd always linked plastic with cheap and nasty.

The valves were definitely cheap but no nastiness in site.

I've compiled a list of what I think makes fluidmaster float valves a cut above the rest.

1. The valve comes with its own basket filter. (this takes out bits of grit that come through in your water and wreck your valve)

2. It has the highest flow rate, right to the top of either your toilet cistern or roof tank. This means the water, flows full bore right until the fill level is reached.

Standard ballcocks slow the flow as they fill. This means longer fill times.

3. It is quiet as mouse compared to the old fashion ballcock. It's like a whisper compared to a scream.

4. This valve will last and last. Long after the standard ball cock has limed up and started to sieze, this plastic fantastic keeps on keeping on.

Man this is starting to sound like a sales pitch but as you can see I'm sold on these valves.

One more thing I love about these valves. They are easy to repair. Click here to repair fluidmaster valve
